Often called the 34-1 to distinguish it from the later, different 34-2. Keel/centerboard version offered (7.6 ft board down / 3.83 ft up, 11,750 lb, 4,660 lb ballast). Briefly revived around 1995 under Cal-Pearson. Engine hp values come from an owners' forum thread; sailboatdata only says Universal diesel. Hull construction unconfirmed: a forum thread gives conflicting owner statements on whether the 34-1 hull is solid or cored.

• Underpowered with stock engine engine
